Matthias Goerne joins the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal for Magnificent Mahler: An Epic Season Opener, opening the OSM’s 2026–27 season at the Maison symphonique de Montréal on September 16 and 17. Under the baton of Rafael Payare, Goerne performs alongside Miah Persson, Rose Naggar-Tremblay and Clay Hilley, together with the OSM Chorus. The programme is devoted entirely to Gustav Mahler, pairing excerpts from Des Knaben Wunderhorn with the dramatic Das klagende Lied.
