On November 17, 2023, tenor Piotr Beczala makes an appearance as solist at the Royal Swedish Opera for a gala concert presenting pieces by Giuseppe Verdi, Antonín Dvořák, Stanisłav Moniuszko, Giacomo Puccini, Umberto Giordano and Pietro Mascagni together with the Royal Swedish Orchestra and under the baton of John Fiore.
