Rolando Villazòn: Opera Galas at Salzburg Festival

Rolando Villazón returns to the Salzburg Festival to take part in two opera galas. On May 18, 2024 Villazón sings in the staged opera pastiche Une Folle Journée based on the music from Le nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni and Così fan tutte to celebrate Mozart and his congenial collaborator Lorenzo Da Ponte. On May 20, 2024 Plácido Domingo, who has been performing in Salzburg for 50 years, takes to the stage as part of a gala featuring numerous Operalia prize winners including Rolando Villazón.
