25-year-old Kosovar Tenor Granit Musliu is among the most promising young singers of his generation. He received his vocal training at the University of Pristina and the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg. He is a former member of the opera studio at the Bayerische Staatsoper and is currently a part of the ensemble for the season 24/25.

Musliu’s roles at the Bayerische Staatsoper in the 2024/25 season include: Malcolm in Macbeth, Rustighello in a new production of Lucrezia Borgia, Alfred in Die Fledermaus.

Granit Musliu: Die Fledermaus at the Munich State Opera

Tenor Granit Musliu takes the role of Alfred in Strauß’ Die Fledermaus at the Munich State Opera. Musliu performs next to Georg Nigl as Gabriel von Eisenstein and Julia Kleiter as Rosalinde. The performances take place on February 23, 25, 27 and March 1 and 4.

Jonathan Tetelman, Elene Gvritishvili, and Granit Musliu perform Macbeth at the Munich State Opera. Tetelman takes on the role of Macduff on December 14 and 17, while Musliu sings Malcolm and the soprano performs Dama di Lady Macbeth on December 14, 17, and 20. Martin Kušej’s production of the Verdi’s melodrama is conducted by Andrea Battistoni.
