As part of the 2026 Mozart anniversary celebrations, Rolando Villazón presents his programme "Villazón & Mozart" at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival. Joined by countertenor Maarten Engeltjes, who also serves as musical director, and the Baroque orchestra PRJCT Amsterdam, Villazón performs a selection of arias and scenes from Mozart's operas, including Idomeneo, La clemenza di Tito, Il re pastore and The Magic Flute. The concerts take place on 7 August 2026 at the Musik- und Kongresshalle Lübeck and on 9 August 2026 at the Deutsches Haus Flensburg.

Kate Lindsey appears as the Composer in Richard Strauss' Ariadne auf Naxos at the 2026 Salzburg Festival. The new production is directed by Ersan Mondtag and conducted by Manfred Honeck. She is joined by Christina Nilsson as Ariadne, Eric Cutler as Bacchus and Ziyi Dai as Zerbinetta. Performances take place on 2, 7, 10, 14, 24 and 28 August 2026 at the Haus für Mozart.
