Rolando Villazón returns to Schloss Raesfeld for two open-air performances of Spanish Night on 15 and 16 August 2026. Joined by soprano Charlotte Langner, the festival:philharmonie Westfalen orchestra, and conductor Michael Zlabinger, he presents a vibrant programme celebrating the passion and spirit of Spanish music, ranging from the rich tradition of zarzuela to operatic favourites. Following the overwhelming success of his sold-out appearances in 2025, a second performance has been added for 2026, giving audiences another opportunity to experience Villazón's charismatic artistry in the unique atmosphere of the historic Wasserschloss Raesfeld.

Conductor Keri-Lynn Wilson leads the Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra on this year’s Summer Tour, the 2026 Invincible Tour, performing across Europe and the United States from 16–26 August 2026. The tour will visit seven major venues: • 16 August – Teatr Wielki, Warsaw • 18 August – St. Paul's Cathedral, London • 19 August – Concertgebouw, Amsterdam • 20 August – Elbphilharmonie, Hamburg • 22 August – National Concert Hall, Dublin • 25 & 26 August – David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center, New York The programme is centered around two landmark works: Beethoven's Symphony No. 7 and Verdi's Requiem, performed with acclaimed soloists Ailyn Pérez, Natalie Lewis, René Barbera, and Soloman Howard. The tour also features special performances including Strauss's Four Last Songs with Lise Davidsen, Mahler's Rückert-Lieder with Julia Kleiter, and the return of Maxim Kolomiiets's Suite from The Mothers of Kherson, following its acclaimed 2025 premiere.

Baritone Matthias Goerne joins Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra and Music Director Jaap van Zweden for performances of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony in Seoul and on the orchestra's 2026 European Tour. The baritone performs John Adams's The Wound-Dresser and the baritone solo in Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 "Choral", alongside soprano Gloria Jieun Choi, mezzo-soprano A Kyeong Lee and tenor Ji Hoon Son.
