Countertenor Cameron Shahbazi makes his house debut at Oper Köln in George Benjamin’s Picture a Day Like This. The production by Daniel Jeanneteau and Marie-Christine Soma is lead under the musical direction of Christian Karlsen. Shahbazi appears as Lover 2 / Composer’s Assistant in the production. Olga Kulchynska makes her role debut as Countess Almaviva alongside Emily Pogorelc as Susanna in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro at Dutch National Opera, Amsterdam. They are joined by Björn Bürger (Count Almaviva), Michael Nagl (Figaro) under the musical direction of Francesco Corti, in a production by Kirill Serebrennikov.
