Tenor Jonah Hoskins’ stars at the annual New Year’s concerts of the Staatskapelle Dresden under the baton of Karina Canellakis. Hoskins’ is joined on stage by soprano Fatma Said and pianist Kirill Gerstein. The concerts take place at Semperoper Dresden on December 29 and 30. The concert on December 29 is being recorded by national German television, ZDF, and will be available for streaming from December 30.

Tenor Omar Mancini returns to Deutsche Oper Berlin as Count Libenskof in Rossini’s Il viaggio a Reims. Mancini is joined on stage by Kyle Miller as Don Alvaro, Contessa di Folleville as Hye-Young Moon and Stephanie Wake-Edwards Marchesa Melibea among many more.
