Siphokazi Molteno: Le Nozze di Figaro at Teatro Regio Torino

Mezzo-soprano Siphokazi Molteno begins her tenure as an ensemble member of Teatro Regio Torino as Cherubino in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro. Molteno is joined on stage by Jarrett Ott as count Almaviva, Kirsten MacKinnon as the countess, Christian Federici as Figaro and Martina Russomanno as Susanna. The production is staged by Emilio Sagi and lead under the musical direction of Leonardo Sini. The performances take place on November 24, 28 and 30.

The performance highlights a captivating blend of opera, jazz, and the American Songbook while raising critical funds necessary to support Lincoln Center’s work in the community, ensuring free and accessible programming for New Yorkers. The evening is hosted by Helga Davis and contains an incredible lineup, including Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell, opera singer and RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars 4 winner Monét X Change, GRAMMY Award-winner Nathan Schram, singer-songwriter Becca Stevens, mezzo-soprano Denyce Graves, soprano Brittany Olivia Logan among many other. The gala takes place at the David Greffen Hall on November 18.
