One of the most compelling artists of her generation, mezzo-soprano Kate Lindsey is a regular guest on the world’s most celebrated stages, including the Metropolitan Opera, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Vienna State Opera, the Salzburg Festival, Glyndebourne Opera Festival, Festival Aix-en-Provence, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, and the Bavarian State Opera.

In 2025/26, Kate Lindsey continues to dazzle audiences in wide variety of role debuts and new productions. Lindsey commences her season with a highly anticipated debut as Mélisande in Pelléas et Mélisande at the Vienna State Opera conducted by Alain Altinoglu. At the Hamburg State Opera, she appears in Tobias Kratzer’s Women’s love and death where she sings Schumann’s Frauenliebe und leben under the musical direction of Karina Canellakis. Lindsey further takes on the title role in Gluck’s Iphigénie en Tauride at the Washington Concert opera and returns the Munich State Opera as Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro.

Kate Lindsey: Concert with Thomas Hengelbrock at Bologna Festival

Kate Lindsey appears at Bologna Festival’s Grandi Interpreti 2026 on 10 June 2026, performing with Thomas Hengelbrock, the Cuban-European Youth Orchestra and Balthasar NOVA at Auditorium Teatro Manzoni. The programme features Haydn’s dramatic cantata Berenice, che fai? and Mozart’s aria Al desio di chi t’adora, alongside Mozart’s Symphony No. 34 and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7.

Kate Lindsey: Recital with Helmut Deutsch in Vienna

On June 8 Kate Lindsey makes her debut at Vienna’s Musikverein in a solo recital with Helmut Deutsch celebrating his 80th birthday. Alongside the renowned lied accompanist Lindsey performs songs by Robert Schumann, Hugo Wolf, Joseph Marx, Alexander Zemlinsky and Erich Wolfgang Korngold: a multi-layered recital with works ranging from the Romantic period to the early 20th century.

Kate Lindsey: Le Nozze di Figaro in Munich

Kate Lindsey performs the role of Cherubino in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich. She appears alongside an outstanding cast including Gerald Finley (Count Almaviva), Diana Damrau (Countess Almaviva), Riccardo Fassi (Figaro) and Joélle Harvey (Susanna), conducted by Patrick Hahn in a production by Evgeny Titov. Performances are scheduled for 16, 20 and 24 May 2026.
