Die rumänisch-ungarische Künstlerin Judit Kutasi ist mit ihrer „vollen dunklen“ (Jenny Camilleri/ Bachtrack) Mezzo-Stimme eine der aufstrebenden Sängerinnen ihres Faches überhaupt und veranlasst Kritiker zu prophezeien, dass sie „der Verdi-Mezzo der nächsten Jahre [sein] wird“ (Maximilian Maier / BR Klassik). In der Spielzeit 2024/25 kehrt Judit Kutasi zu Beginn an die San Francisco Opera zurück und singt Ulrica in einer Neuproduktion in Verdis Un ballo in maschera unter der musikalischen Leitung von Eun Sun Kim. Kutasi kehrt auch an die Metropolitan Opera zurück, wo sie die Rolle der Amneris in Verdis Aïda in einer Neuinszenierung von Michael Mayer singt. Weitere Aufführungen als Amneris folgen an der Deutschen Oper Berlin in einer Produktion von Benedikt von Peter und unter der Leitung von Paolo Arrivabeni. Die Saison gipfelt in Kutasis Hausdebüt am Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse, wo sie die Rolle der Principessa de Bouillon in einer Neuproduktion von Cileas Adriana Lecouvreur unter der musikalischen Leitung von Giampaolo Bisanti übernimmt.
