Charlotte Langner makes her role debut as the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte at Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf. A former member of the company’s Opera Studio, the soprano returns to take on one of Mozart’s most demanding roles in Suzanne Andrade and Barrie Kosky's produtcion. Matthias Goerne appears at Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires for a recital dedicated to Schubert’s Winterreise, as part of the theatre’s Grandes Intérpretes series. Joined by Cuban-Finnish pianist Anton Mejias, Goerne performs Schubert’s complete cycle of 24 songs, composed in 1827. From the opening Gute Nacht to the haunting final song Der Leiermann, Winterreise traces a solitary journey through lost love, memory and despair. The recital takes place on October 17 at the Teatro Colón.

Javier Camarena returns to ABAO Bilbao Opera this October as Alfredo Germont in Verdi’s La traviata, opening the company’s 75th season. He stars alongside Jessica Pratt as Violetta Valéry and Gabriele Viviani as Giorgio Germont. Francesco Ivan Ciampa conducts the Euskadiko Orkestra in Mario Pontiggia’s production. Centre Stage Artist Management is delighted to welcome young German soprano Charlotte Langner to our roster as a CSAM Emerging Artist. She is the first artist to join the roster as part of a new initiative dedicated to supporting exceptional young talents at the very start of their careers. Charlotte graduated from the opera studio of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in the summer of 2026 and is currently completing a post-graduate Excellence Program at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf.

Audiences and critics alike have praised her “soprano that shines in the upper register” (Westdeutsche Zeitung), her “flawlessly beautiful voice” (NRZ) and her “crystal-clear coloratura” (O-Ton). In the 2026/27 season, she debuts the roles of Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Adele in Die Fledermaus at Theater Lüneburg, and a Flower Maiden in Parsifal at the Nationaltheater Weimar. Her concert engagements include an aria recital at Teatro San Domenico in Crema and a performance of Hans Werner Henze’s Being Beauteous at the Tonhalle Düsseldorf.
