Magnus Dietrich
Magnus Dietrich has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting lyric tenors of his generation. His repertoire ranges from Mozart’s Tamino, Ferrando and Belmonte to Wagner’s Steuermann (The Flying Dutchman) and Walther von der Vogelweide (Tannhäuser), as well as Leukippos in Strauss’ Daphne, a role he portrayed to great acclaim at Berlin State Opera and in Frankfurt. Critics praise his lyrical phrasing as well as his ardent, dramatic portrayals. With his successful debut as Jacquino in Beethoven’s Fidelio at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, he also achieved international recognition.
