Yeongtaek Yang
Baritone Yeongtaek Yang has rapidly emerged as one of the most promising young baritones of his generation. Acclaimed for “hearty” “stirring” and “stentorian” performances (Classical voice North America), he is distinguished by his refined musicianship, commanding stage presence, and exceptional artistic versatility.
In the 2026/27 season, Yeongtaek Yang appears as Ping in Puccini’s Turandot with the Dallas Opera under Emmanuel Villaume in Francesca Zambello’s production, and as Marcello in La bohème with Dayton Opera under Keitaro Harada. On the concert stage, he gives a recital for the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, performs Mahler’s Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen with the Apollo Orchestra, and joins the Santa Fe Opera Winter Gala.
