Soprano Olga Peretyatko makes her role debut as Marquerite in Gounod’s Faust at the Hamburg State Opera. The new production by Andreas Homoki  is conducted by Alexander Joel with a cast that includes Pavel Černoch (Faust), Olga Peretyatko (Marguerite), Adam Palka (Méphistophélès), Alexey Boddanchikov (Valentin), Mateusz Ługowski (Wagner), Kady Evanyshyn (Siebel) and Renate Spingler (Marthe). The performances take place on November 12, 17, 20 and 25.

Joseph Calleja travels to Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Georgia. Together with the conductor Sergey Smbatyan, the founder, artistic director and principal conductor of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, Calleja will present a varied programme of some of the most famous and beloved works from the classical and contemporary operatic repertoire.
