Emily D'Angelo presents her role and house debut in the lead character Jess in the world premiere of Jeanine Tesori's Grounded at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. Based on the award-winning play by George Brant and co-produced with the Metropolitan Opera , the opera Grounded is musically led by Daniela Candillari and staged by Michael Mayer. Mezzo-soprano Emily D'Angelo returns to Salzburg this summer to give her festival debut with the Mozart Requiem. Manfred Honeck will take on the musical direction of the Camerata Salzburg. The concert takes place at the renowned Salzburg Festspielhaus on 24 July with further soloists being Ying Fang, Bogdan Volkov and William Thomas.

Mezzo-soprano Emily D'Angelo joins the Metropolitan Opera for their Concert of Remembrance and Hope for Ukraine to mark the one-year anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Under the baton of Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin the MET orchestra, choir and soloists will perform a program of Mozart's Requiem and Beethoven's Fifth Symphony as well as the Ukrainian National Anthem and Valentin Silverstrov's Prayer for Ukraine.
