On 23 July 2025, Regula Mühlemann and her frequent stage partner, pianist Tatiana Korsunskaya, will perform a 'Lieder der Heimat' recital at the Kirche Zweisimmen. Soprano Serena Sáenz joins the cast of Benjamin a Portbou, a new opera commissioned by Gran Teatre del Liceu and composed by maestro Antoni Ros-Marbà. Sáenz sings the role of the symbolic Angelus Novus in this highly anticipated world premiere. The semi-staged production explores themes of exile and light, with Antoni Ros-Marbà himself conducting at nearly 90 years old. Performances are scheduled at the Liceu on July 19 and 21.
