Rolando Villazón returns to the Berlin State Opera as Loge in Wagner’s Das Rheingold on March 18 and 27, 2024. The prelude to the Ring of the Nibelung tetralogy that was staged in 2022 by Dmitri Tcherniakov also features Tomasz Konieczny as Wotan, Johannes Martin Kränzle as Albrich and Claudia Mahnke as Fricka.

The tenor presents a program featuring music by Mozart, Verdi, Massenet, Offenbach, and others, on February 17 in Andermatt and on February 24 at the Opéra de Monte Carlo, accompanied by the Swiss Orchestra under the baton of Lena-Lisa Wüstendörfer. He brings the programme to Munich’s Prinzregententheater on March 11, accompanied by  the Munich Symphony Orchestra conducted by Guerassim Voronkov. Rolando Villazón is also the star guest at the 2024 Dresden Semperoper’s festive Opera Ball.
