Countertenor Cameron Shahbazi sings the role of Tolomeo, the King of Egypt, in the new production of Händel’s opera Giulio Cesare at the Dutch National Opera in Amsterdam. It’s a co-production with the Gran Teatre del Liceu (Barcelona), staged by the Spanish director Calixto Bieito under the musical direction of Emmanuelle Haïm.
