Rising lyric tenor Jonah Hoskins, a recent graduate of the Metropolitan Opera’s prestigious Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, is one of the most promising young voices in opera. A Grand Finals winner of the 2020 Met Competition, Hoskins has continued to triumph on the competition scene: he was awarded with the second prize at Placido Domingo’s Operalia Competition, was the recipient of the Extraordinary Artistic Promise Award at the Lotte Lenya Competition, and placed first in the National Opera Association Competition. Hoskins joined the ensemble of the Hamburg State Opera in 2025/26, a tenure he continues in the 2026/27 season.
